GenetRx^TM can be applied in preclinical studies to identify and validate a drug ‘gene set’ for translation into clinical studies.

Epistem work closely with drug development groups to identify a biomarker ‘gene set’ specific to a particular drug.  

Epistem use the GenetRx^TM technology as a means of discovering;

• Novel drug-induced biomarkers
• Preclinical and clinical gene biomarkers of efficacy (PD)
• Drug mechanisms of action at a molecular pathway level

We also offer ex vivo plucked human hair models which enable drugs to be incorporated at different doses into our proprietary culture system to ascertain what effects they have on gene expression.
